Membership typically includes someone who is less than 40 years of age or who has less than five years operational experience in the security profession. Yet, participation is encouraged from all those passionate about developing Houston's future leaders within the security profession.

The YP Committee is specifically designed to attract local security practitioners interested in exchanging ideas, leadership, academic and networking opportunities with fellow young professionals. Mentorship opportunities with more experienced chapter members through social gatherings is on the horizon.
